(Bloomberg) -- Royal Bank of Canada is appointing Nadine Ahn as its chief financial officer, part of a shakeup of the lender’s senior ranks.

Ahn, currently head of investor relations, will take over the role on Nov. 1, the Toronto-based company said in a statement Friday. She replaces Rod Bolger, who has been in the role since December 2016 and is leaving after a decade at the bank.

RBC also said it appointed General Counsel Maria Douvas as its chief legal officer. Neil McLaughlin, head of Personal & Commercial Banking, will now run RBC Ventures.

RBC is pushing to expand it U.S. business, and has started focusing on winning over mid-market companies to help expand its business south of the border through its City National U.S. private and commercial bank.
