Tesla (TSLA) shares falling in after hours trading after the EV maker's first quarter results missed analysts' estimates for both revenue and profit.
In the release, Tesla reiterated that its much-anticipated Cybertruck "remains on track to begin production later this year at Gigafactory Texas."
Ronald Jewsikow, Guggenheim Securities Vice President of Automotive Equity Research joined Yahoo Finance to dig into the numbers.
Jewsikow told Yahoo Finance that the Cybertruck is very important to Tesla’s investment story, saying "I think it’s really important. During our discussion with investors, I think the focus really is on what price point Tesla can deliver for this vehicle."
