LONDON, June 13 (Reuters) - MSCI ESG Research said on Tuesday it was assessing the potential impact on its business and products of draft legislation from the European Union that would regulate providers of environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings.
"MSCI ESG Research maintains a strong culture of independence and transparency in providing ESG ratings to global investors," MSCI said in an emailed statement.
