Aug 21 (Reuters) - Chevron said on Monday it would terminate an exchange offer for PDC Energy's bonds worth $750 million after the oil major failed to secure consent from its debt holders.
Earlier this month, it had closed the $7.6 billion stock-and-debt deal for PDC and had offered to exchange PDC's 5.750% senior notes due 2026 with notes issued by one of its units.
PDC would redeem its notes on or after May 15, 2024, Chevron said. (Reporting by Sourasis Bose in Bengaluru; Editing by Arun Koyyur)
