Broadcom earnings best estimates, forecast disappoints

Broadcom's (AVGO) third quarter results beat Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom lines. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $10.54 versus expectations of $10.43 per share. Revenue of $8.88 billion just barely beat the $8.87 billion estimate.
