BRAD SMITH: Here are three things that you need to start your morning and your month of September. The August jobs report tops expectations at 187,000 jobs added. That's ahead of the 170,000 that was expected, but still shows a cooling economy. Importantly, wage growth is also cooling down setting the Fed up for a widely expected September pause.

Equities look to start the new month on a positive note. A month that's traditionally not a great one for stocks. Lululemon's ambitious growth plan looks like it's working. The retailer ups its guidance thanks, in part, to a very strong performance in China.

The athleisure giant saw revenue spiked 61% in the world's second biggest economy. It now sees sales between $9.5 billion and $9.6 billion for the fiscal year.

Sales in North America. they were up 11%. And the business says, it's in a good position on inventories. And the TSA is expected to screen more than 14 million passengers during the Labor Day holiday weekend. Today will be the busiest day with over 2.7 million travelers passing through security checkpoints.

It's not a great time for a tick higher in gas prices, but it's happening. The national price, national average is up from a month ago at $3.82 a gallon, $3.82. My goodness, Rachelle.
