How Apple's new iPhones could change the way we game

Apple (AAPL) are launching preorders for their iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro this week and, typical of their releases, their shares have fallen. Yahoo Finance’s Brad Smith and Julie Hyman are joined by Oppenheimer Senior Analyst of Emerging Tech & Services Martin Yang as he weighs in on the newest features on the phones and consumer response to the launch.The new iPhones now support high-end PC and console games — which has never been achieved in top-of-the-line smartphones before. Yang finds this to be a “paradigm shift”, seeing “a very large audience” willing to purchase games on PC, console, or even the new iPhone.Yang also finds Apple in a “moderate” ecosystem with varied options for iCloud subscription tiers and the iPhone 15’s design to be a “defense against potential competition.”
