ZURICH, Sept 14 (Reuters) - UBS has appointed Ulrike Hoffmann-Burchardi as the equities chief investment officer for its flagship global wealth management business, according to a staff memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.
Hoffmann-Burchardi will be joining UBS on Oct. 23 from Tudor Investment Corporation, where she has been a partner and senior portfolio manager since 2009, Mark Haefele, CIO for the global wealth management division, said in the memo.
In July, UBS global wealth management division announced a raft of management changes triggered by the lender's takeover of its Swiss rival Credit Suisse.
Hoffmann-Burchardi, who was named by Barron's as one of the 100 most influential women in U.S. finance in 2023, will be based in Zurich and report to Haefele, he said in the memo. (Reporting by Tomasz Janowski; Editing by Rachel More)
